In my last video of Microwave hacks Many ofyou have asked how to preheat a Microwave.
Today I have brought the video on Preheat A Microwave
Plz watch the full video as i have told some Tips and tricks at the end.
So Let's get Started
This is my IFB Convection Microwave Oven
today we'll preheat this as given in its Manual
Here a Convection button is Given If i press it the Temperature will be shown in display as 110 C
My convection Oven Temp range starts from 110 C
And if i press the same button continiously the temperature will rise from 110 C to 200 C
Always preheat the microwave to thattemperature at which we want to do bake
Suppose, I want bake my stuff at 180 Cthen i wll press convection button till 180 C
And then i will press Start button and My oven will start Preheating
But it will take 30 Mintues which I feel is quite long for this temperature to reach
I have told you this because it is given in IFB Manual
After Many Trial I have found that we can preheat the Microwave in less time
For Second Option frst select the Temperature to the desired value
Suppose, I want to do bake the cake at 180 Cso i will press convection button till 180 C
Display screen is showing "CONV" It means our Microwave is in Convection mode
From this timing panel i will select 15 minutes
Now my Oven Will preheat at 180 C for 15 min
Now I Will press start Button to start Preheating
To Check Whether My Oven is Heated to desired Temp
I am going to use a Infrared Thermometer
Here we can see that Temperature of the oven has reached to approx 180 C
Similarly you can Preheat any Microwave like this
What is Preheating?
Preheating is to heat your Microwave emptyJust before you start baking
But why we Require Preheating?
If you keep your item to be baked in a non preheatedmicrowave then your baking time will increase
At the same time your cake will not be fluffy
and will not bake properly
If you bake your cake in preheated oven thenyour cake will be baked properly in less time.
So Friends Always Use Preheated Oven
After Preheating Time Microwave Starts cooling fan Automatically
and this will starts cooling microwaveresulting in heat loss from it
If you Preheat Microwave first and after 15 mins you start baking in it
Then Our microwave will come in normal condition and will affect our baking efficiency
So Remember that as soon as preheat is complete you should start bake your cake.
